Can you use your own tripod?
Can you use the scanner as a hand held device?
Can the turntable stay still and rotate the scanner around the object?
Can you adjust the scanner to be able to scan a foot, hand or face?
The simple answer is no!
The scanner is designed to work as it is. The developement and design of the scanner and software has the scan head with the laser at the calculated distance from the centre of the turntable, and used in a very dark enviroment (ie the tent).
Modifying the scanner to your own needs will invalidate the warranty, and we cannot take any resposibilty of damage caused to the scanner or turntable by using it how it was not intended to be used.
